A.)   Mashobra: 13 Kms. (2149m), is a  well wooded suburb with good views, Nearby is the pleasant picnic ground of Craignano, the side of the celebrated confectioner Cavalier Peliti and Fruit research Station (18 Kms.), it’s the biggest research station of Northern India where the English varieties of apple were first grown in the 19^th century. Down the valley is the beautiful glade of Sipur.

B.)    Naldehra: 23 Kms. (2044 m), has a thick cedar forest, picnic grounds and a nine-hole par 66 golf course. One of the oldest golf courses in the country it was designed by Lord Curzon, the British Viceroy of India (1899-1905). He often camped here for days on end and even named his daughter as ‘Naldera’ after this spot.

C.)    Tattapani 51 Kms. (650m) has hot sulphur springs that are known for their healing powers.

B.)    Kufri: 16 Kms. Famous for Ski, commands a good view, Potato Research Station.

C.)    Fagu: 22 Kms. New Kufri fun place commands a beautiful view of Giri valley surrounded by the apple orchards.

D.)   Theog: 32 Kms. Potato Marketing Centre for the interior of Himachal Pradesh.

E.)    Matiana: Famous for Cheery and other orchards.

F.)    Narkanda: A quaint sleepy hamlet from here you get breath taking views of the snows of the snow clad Himalayas. Hatu Peak at an altitude of 3,143 mtrs. (10,000 ft.) above sea level 8 Kms. From Narkanda and in winters there Ski exciting slopes for you to ski on and a cozy. Hotel Him view Café Vasan and rest house to relax in.

A.)   Green Valley:  16 Kms. Formerly abode of Lord Kitchener Commanding Chief, INDIA, beautiful tourist spot with spacious lawns and gardens.

B.)    Kufri: 16 Kms. (2510m) is one of the early places to be associated with skiing in India. It has fine views of the deep valleys and thick forests that are framed by a backdrop of unmalting snows. This also has the Himalayan Nature Park. Commands a good view, Potato Research Station.

C.)    Fagu: 22 Kms. (2450m) is a small village on the way to Narkanda. It offers wonderful views view of Giri valley surrounded by the apple orchards and walks in the area.

D.)   Mini Zoo: zoo, Yark and Pony Park.

E.)    Indra Holiday Home: Near Kufri 18 Kms surrounded by Deodar forest at altitude of 2,623 meters.

A) TEMPLE SANKAT MOCHAN: Located on Shimla - Chandigarh National Highway, commands excellent view of Shimla town and its surrounding township.

B) VICEREGAL LODGE: The magnificent Viceregal Lodge, where the partition was decided. This lodge is perhaps the most resonant of old structures in Shimla.

C) TEMPLE VASHNO DEVI: Located opposite to Sankat Mochan Temple.

D) TEMPLE TARA DEVI: at distance of 18 km, at the height 1851 meters. There are two temples here one on top of the hill know as Tara Temple and other on the northern side of hill known as Shiva Temple.
