A.)   Mashobra: 13 Kms. (2149m), is a  well wooded suburb with good views, Nearby is the pleasant picnic ground of Craignano, the side of the celebrated confectioner Cavalier Peliti and Fruit research Station (18 Kms.), it’s the biggest research station of Northern India where the English varieties of apple were first grown in the 19th century. Down the valley is the beautiful glade of Sipur.
B.)    Naldehra: 23 Kms. (2044 m), has a thick cedar forest, picnic grounds and a nine-hole par 66 golf course. One of the oldest golf courses in the country it was designed by Lord Curzon, the British Viceroy of India (1899-1905). He often camped here for days on end and even named his daughter as ‘Naldera’ after this spot.
C.)    Tattapani 51 Kms. (650m) has hot sulphur springs that are known for their healing powers.
